Start the month of April with an Easter egg hunt!
The beginning of April heralds an event that all gourmands look forward to: the Easter weekend 2023. The egg hunt is open from April 8 to 10, 2023, at the Paris Zoological Park. From our hotel, take the direct line 8, and go in search of chocolate eggs.
On Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10, the unusual village of Oeufoville opens its doors and offers many activities for children. The youngest will be able to discover real animal eggs, participate in egg decorating workshops, put on make-up, and even observe the egg collection of the inhabitants of Oeufoville.
Of course, Easter is not over until the chocolate egg hunt is launched. You will have to go to the Vincennes zoo in the morning to make sure you don't miss out on the event. Please note that the egg hunt is reserved for the first 200 registrants per day.
Visit the Bourdelle Museum and discover the new 2023
After two and a half years of closure, the Bourdelle Museum reopened its doors on March 15, 2023. This is an event not to be missed in April 2023. The studio of the French sculptor, located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, has been completely renovated, and now offers a scenography that improves the understanding of Bourdelle's works and their context of creation.
Another new feature of the Bourdelle Museum is a café-restaurant named after the artist's daughter: the Rhodia.
Take advantage of the reopening to discover the temporary exhibition of the moment, dedicated to "la peinture d'après" and realized by the figurative painter Philippe Cogné.
The Paris Book Festival: April 21-23, 2023
After two cancelled editions, due to the health crisis, the Paris Book Festival is back, with a new format. Organized from April 21 to 23, 2023, the literary fair will no longer take place at Paris Expo - Portes de Versailles, but in the heart of Paris, at the Grand Palais Éphémère. Just a stone's throw from the Hôtel Bleu de Grenelle, on the Champ-de-Mars, the book fair will focus on Italy this year. You will be able to discover the country through authors and book professionals who will reveal its secrets, its diversity, but also its current problems.
Between publishers, authors and booksellers, the meeting aims to promote reading in all its forms. Big names in cinema and music will also be present, and will participate in this huge cultural festival where meetings and workshops will animate the 3 days.
Another good news to know: the Paris Book Festival is no longer free for all, and people over 25 years old will have to pay an entrance fee of 5 euros.
